Telecomunication Standards

The University of Cincinnati Office of Information Technologies (UCit) recognizes the relationship between telecommunications wiring and its supportive infrastructure. It is important that the infrastructure support a wide variety of telephone and data services that rely on the fast and accurate transport of electronic information. This Telecommunication Standards document provides specific guidelines for anyone involved in the installation of the wiring systems, termination products, pathway and space components, and the associated equipment of the UC Network (UCNet).
