UCMail


Outlook Web access

UCMAIL is the university's administrative e-mail system. It is a full-function messaging system using Microsoft's Exchange E-Mail System. UCMAIL allows users to access their mail either via the web, or by using MAPI/IMAP mail clients. In addition to e-mail management, UCMAIL provides group calendaring, task management, contact management, access to the Global Address List, and user-defined filters functionality. UCMAIL provides server-based message virus scanning.

UCMAIL for Faculty and Staff:  UCMAIL is free to UC faculty and staff. Students are not eligible for UCMAIL accounts. Each full-time staff and full-time faculty account is assigned a quota limit of 100 megabytes. Part-time faculty and staff and generic accounts are assigned quota limits of 100 megabytes each. The entrance of staff or faculty information into the HR system triggers the automatic creation of Exchange accounts.

Please allow two (2) business days after a user's information  is entered into the HR system.

Request changes to e-mail accounts for UC faculty and staff through UCit's Online Ordering system, GETit.

UCMAIL for UC Affiliates:  Non-UC employees who have a verified affiliation to the university are eligible for fee-based UCMAIL affiliate accounts. A UC affiliate account is assigned a quota limit of 30 megabytes. Request UC Affiliate e-mail accounts through UCit's Online Ordering syste, GETit.
